This Inn was remodeled nicely and the price was sooo reasonable. We had a very nice room with all the amenities needed. The location to historic Wilmington and the beach, along with shopping is perfect. Would recommend this Inn to everyone.
There were really no complaints. My wife brought her hair dryer and glad she did so because that is not included in the room. Everything else was great and a nice breakfast.
The price was right for our budget; the staff was friendly and accommodating; the coffee in the lobby was fresh each morning.
The rooms are minimalistic - they do not have the conveniences that most other hotels/motels do (hairdryer, iron, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, alarm clock). Seeming clean, the carpets need to be shampooed - the dark color of the carpet hides the dirt that resides there, as evidenced when walking around the room in clean socks; the rooms and electronics need to be updated - the TVs are early 2000s models and seem bulky for the room size. Seeming to be a converted Motel 6, the rooms are small and appear intended only for short stays where one only needs a place to lay down.
It was close to the downtown area and an easy drive in and out. The room was comfortable and good value.
The room was clean. It was quiet. This is a good value in a good location. We were attending the AKC dog show and traveling with pets. This hotel is pet-friendly and has a very nice area for walking the dogs.
The hospitality offered by the staff was first rate. I felt welcomed and appreciated. The breakfast was a real treat.
There wasn't anything I found I did not like about the Inn.
In all my travels, I have never encountered such friendly and helpful staff. At one point when I was having trouble with the phone, the lady behind the desk unhesitantly pulled out her mobile phone and offered it to me to use. Please thank them again from me for a wonderful stay.
There were a few cockroaches in the room, but as I am from a coastal town, I know how hard it is to keep them down
If you want luxury, this is not the place. But if you want cheap and acceptable, this is a good place. I stayed here two times. Rooms are small and the corners are not to Hilton standards. But the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms appear to be new (at least in the 2 rooms I stayed in). We'll be going back.
I have had better stays at this Hotel. My first stay was wonderful. The second time iI staied have to change rooms because of elecical and bathroom issues. This time I felt like I was charged full price even though it was off season. The room was not set up for 2 people and to end up getting more towels before I could get a shower. Had to go out and buy soap the next day because the saop that was in the room was so small you almost had to have a magnifing glass to to see it. The management has change since the last time I stayed and I don't beleive I'll be coming back again.
The check-in experience was horrible! It took about 45 mins. We made reservations and the guy behind the desk was shuffling through papers to try and find it and finally said it must have never gone through. He had a computer so I'm not sure what the deal with that was?? We had to start the whole process over. The hotel was run-down and a bit scary. I didn't want to be outside after dark. I will not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
The location was perfect for going to the beach and the staff was very friendly. The room was basic but comfortable and good value for the hotel. The breakfast was nice and I would definitely stay here again for the low price.
The room smelled horrible and is very small. The ac makes a loud noise when in use. The soap was smaller than any I've ever seen in a hotel/motel and hard to use. The toilet was blocked. Staff not friendly. Breakfast is just a snack, granola bars, unhealthy packaged cakes and muffins. Fruit and juice. For the price, one would expect much, but more than this. $95 per night.
I was happy that the water in the shower was hot- the only plus! Soap was too small, toilet was blocked, room smelled bad, room is way too small for 2 beds. Complimentary breakfast was just a snack. Price too high - poor value for money!
Good location - Market Street is one of the main streets in Wilmington, so it was easy to find and not far away from historic downtown.
Breakfast was slightly disappointing
Free muffins, juice & coffee in the morning
No amenities like microwave/refrigerator without an extra charge, toilet flushed slow, asked for a plunger "just in case" but never received one and coffee was not available in the lobby in the afternoon and evenings, contrary to what they promised -- which really was a hassle considering that instant was not an option with no microwave to heat water. Need new mattresses...ours had lumpy springs in it. Room 209. Also, was charged more than what I was quoted through Booked.net even with the added tax. I will be a more careful shopper next time around.
Fairly easy to find, check in was fast and easy as well as checkout. Anything needed extra was easily accessible, staff was friendly and price was reasonable.
seemed like it was in a bad neighborhood, rooms were somewhat small, and continental breakfast was more like snacks.
I thought the staff was excellent. They were very friendly. I liked the fact that there was a security guard that walked through at night.
